No date on the can.
It pours a really dark brown with some reddish hues, good head of tan foam.
I smell bitter coffee, chocolate, lactose. Mostly the coffee.
The taste is more balanced. The coffee is still strong but it's tampered by the chocolate and especially the lactose; that brings some sweet notes. The finish returns to coffee dominance.
Mmmm...silky smooth mouthfeel.
Very nice!

On tap at the brewery.
Look- Dark brown with a small amount of tan foam.
Smell- Coffee, dark chocolate and roast.
Taste- Very coffee forward with some chocolate. A hint of vanilla in the finish.
Feel- On the thin side for a milk stout.
Overall- A really solid coffee forward beer that could be world class if it had more body.

Nitro- Strong coffee on the nose. Great creamy texture, and excellent decadent latte flavor.

L- Inky black, with a khaki head that has good retention. If they have it on nitro it is a sight to behold!
S- Roasted/burnt malted barley, coffee and a faint sweetness.
T- Sweet and creamy coffee. The coffee plays so well with the lactose sugar and the bitter burnt malt. For those of you who don't like black coffee this is more like a latte treat, where the coffee shines but is balanced out with a sweet creaminess.
F- Depending on what gas it's poured on but both are medium bodied, smooth and then nitro just adds to the smooth creaminess which I love.
O- One of the best stouts I have had. The base stout is a creamy, sweet and roasty milk stout with the perfect amount of coffee blended in. Think of Left Hand Milk Stout (only better IMO) with cold brew coffee added. One of the very few 5's I've given.
