they call this "early morning ipa" and i can dig on that. its no so low alcohol or so orange juicy that it really would be entirely desirable at 6am, but by 8am, which i would consider to be mid morning, i am all over it. nice bright hop complexion with minimal hop bitterness, great carbonation, and a crushable light body that never feels bland or watery, something tough to do apparently in session ipa these days. its pretty straightforward beer, subtle pine, some citrusy dry hopped aroma too, with lemon and orange coming at me. similar hop flavors to what i smell in this one, all very light and fresh, floral and summery, without much malt or yeast taste at all. some of these beers bore me to tears, but i find this one interesting enough to easily want to drink a six pack, if not more, and its super refreshing, dry, well carbonated, and not disgusting when it warms up a bit, setting it well ahead of most of its peers, especially locally here in colorado. i have liked the limited selection of stuff i have had from these guys, nice to see their stuff increasingly available in colorado!

L- slightly hazy golden orange. White head, good lacing.
S- sweet, tropical, citrus hops.
T- taste follows nose, great bitterness followed by sweet, orange peel, grapefruit and tropical notes. Some how it manages to not taste like hop water (tastes like Odell IPA's little brother! )
F- light, crisp but not watery. Quite the feat for a session IPA!
O- By far my favorite for the style so far, somehow it avoids the pitfall of the style which is a thin watery base.
Edit - had their second batch and it is even better!
