L- cloudy dark orange
S- Citra and othe hops are little muted by the barrel and bourbon but I haven't found a BA IPA where that isn't the case (only had handful though)
T-Oaky, vanilla and bourbon mingling with bitter sweet orange and pine.
M- feels pretty big and sticky, creamy from moderate carbonation and the oaky vanillaness smoothing it out.
Great beer but I think I always prefer fresh, non BA IPAs. I think Stouts carry the flavors of a barrel and bourbon much better and it can often enhance the beer, where as hops can be muted as they compete for space on your palate. If you love BA IPAs, specifically BBA IPAs you will probably love this beer!
