A black lager with roasty, chocolate and biscuit aromas that give way to a very drinkable medium bodied beer. Its color and flavor suit the season but contrast with its drinkability.

12oz can. No dating information found.
Dark brown colored body, with a red tint. Slight foam coming out of can upon opening. Several fingers of beige head, which quickly settles to a frothy cap. Leaves behind some bubbly strings of lacing.
Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, and fruity hops.
Taste is dark roasted sweet malts, chocolate, vanilla, and dark fruits such as dates. Very cola-like. Bitterness is low. Aftertaste is rather long, and continues with all flavors.
Medium mouth feel. Some bite on the tongue. Very good carbonation.
A little too sweet but a good representation of the style. Solid chocolate malts.
