Hairless Hare Brewery

Friendly staff and interesting mugs on the wall for regulars and nice they had a food option but the beer was a disappointment. Was hoping for a better beer from my hometown.

 

Checked in before 5 on a weekday to try the beer. It was quiet place in the middle of a strip mall next to a VFW. Seating inside for about 40 and another 5 tables on the sidewalk (with a view of the parking lot). The place is within 10 minutes of the Dayton Airport. Looks like they remodeled a "bar and grill" and put the beer equipment where the kitchen used to be. No outside taps, just their beer which they had about 8 on tap, three being IPAs. Beer was fresh, but inconsistent.

 

 

This place is amazing the guys running the place super nice when I was there they where sampling a couple new ones and let me try them out and tried to get my wife a non beer drinker some she might like made a shandy that's she really liked so if you near this place it worth the stop.

I really like this brewery. Fantastic beer, great people, and so excited for their future. Their location on north dayton is very accessible, but their strip-mall location leaves a little to be desired.

 

Just discovered this little brewery the other day. We visited them last night. We had a flight of all 8 of their beers and from my opinion they were all very good. Well, there was one that I didn't care for, but the rest were quality. Can't remember all the names, but the Rabbit Hole Chocolate Stout was excellent. They also had a Rye and a Double Pale Ale that were just as good. If you are ever in the Vandalia, OH area, try to stop in. The place is not much for ambiance, but the beer makes up for it.
