I visited the Old Mill after my uncle's celebration of life with my cousin and sister. I had this beer off the tapper as part of a five sample flight. It had many common characteristics of roasty stouts. It was very smooth and easy to drink.

Taste: Dark chocolate and Black malts, roasted coffee beans, smoked notes, dry finish
Dark Brown in color
Opaque in clarity for the most part
Toasted malt grain nose
Medium to full body
Tan delicate head with nice webbing on glass from the lace
Paired well with the tasty BBQ sandwich I had.

Really nice mix of different flavors including coffee make this a well rounded and unique stout.

I've had the pleasure of trying this beer multiple times. After a couple of different flights, I've settled on the Sunshine Stout as the gem of Old Mill Brewpub! It has a great light coffee front and smooth mouth feel which melts into a nice chocolaty finish! A great beer to have with their Diablo Philly Cheesesteak! It compliments any meal and is smooth enough to always have another! Great work on this one Old Mill!
