A true classic that won’t ever go out of fashion. The Classic is designed to be versatile – you can drink this all day and in all seasons. We’ve taken careful measures to create an elegant balance of malts and hops in this pale ale. The result is just enough malty richness, paired with a thirst-quenching blend of North American and Australian hops. We employ late additions and dry hopping to bring out its delightful fruity, floral and zesty aroma.

Purchased in Singapore in October 2023, muled back home and then drunk in Oz in January 2024.
L: Golden honey yellow with a thin rim of white head. Very sparse carbonation can be seen in the glass.
S: Fruity, spicy, and piney hops that are almost certainly one of the classic C hops but which also give off what comes across as canteloupe and honeydew.
T: Very clean with a deep, fruity, mildly dank bitterness that's very moreish as it warms and the bitterness comes to the fore. Grapefruit peel and citrus notes dominate compared to the more tropical aromas. There's a soft caramel malt body underneath the hops.
M: The body is smooth, carbonation is low to medium and carbonic prickle is almost non-existent.
O: This beer improved significantly with ten minutes in the glass, as the citrus bitterness came to the fore and turned the beer into a very enjoyable and, as per the name, classic (at least for craft) pale ale.
Cheers!
