Appearance: Amber brown glass shows a little depth of color and good clarity. A thin brown ring of foam doesn't lace.
Aroma: Vanilla makes the nose pretty sweet, almost cloying. A cream ale base gives some other spice notes as well. It doesn't seem to have enough base to support all the spices.
Taste: The base holds up, I guess it's more that the spices don't overwhelm. The base is fairly light brown ale, some toffee sweetness, and the spices are Christmas and Vanilla at very nice levels where the flavor is there but allows some beer flavor to come through.
Mouthfeel: A little light, pretty oily, medium carbonation.
Overall: I'm impressed. A lighter Christmas that is full of flavor and spices that is very drinkable. Not what I was expecting given the name, but a tasty beer none the less.

Pours a medium clear copper color. Head is light tan with minimal retention and no lacing.
The nose has wheat bread, brown sugar, nutmeg and a bit of caramel. The cinnamon is faint and you have to dig for it.
Nutmeg in the taste with some grains and sugar. The vanilla comes out in the taste.
It has a medium body feel and bubbly carbonation that tickles the palate.

Shared this with the family for Christmas brunch. Took the bottle to Cincinnati and the general consensus was positive. Nice amber yellow with nice head and good lacing. Sweet cinnamon smell and taste. Nice vanilla notes. It helped make Christmas 2017 merrier!

It has a nice clear dark amber color. Very medium carbonation. Smells of vanilla. I let it warm to the mid 50’s, my first impression is cream soda. It’s sweet, but only subliminally. I don’t really detect the cinnamon. The abv is well concealed. It has a slight bitter finish. It makes you feel like you had dessert. It’s good.

Really good. Subtle vanilla and cinnamon complement a malty nutty old ale. I honestly wasn’t expecting to enjoy this all that much, as I have grown tired of the Christmas Ale, but it is really good. I think the name cut with bread pudding is pretty funny as I remember some idiot saying Saint Arnold cuts their beer with bread.
