Citrodos IPA is an American IPA with lower ABV and IBU than typical of the style. It has a glowing golden hue with off-white head that lingers through the glass. The aroma has pronounced citrus and tropical fruit notes. The hop flavor from the Citra and Centennial hops begins with orange and grapefruit character, with a honeydew finish balanced by a graham cracker malt sweetness. Citrodos IPA finishes clean and dry.

12 oz. can poured into vertical tulip
(canned on 7/15/19 printed on bottom of can)
L: mostly clear gold, slight mist in it, topped by 4/5-inch tall head of offwhite/white foam that sticks in a nice pattern
S: grapefruit, earthy grapefruit peel, orange peel, hint of greener hop notes, cilantro, grass, lemongrass; the grapefruit is dominant and it's slightly sweet
T: similar to nose just a hint more earthy/yeasty; grapefruit peel, orange peel
F: perfect, a nice midweight feel with loads of carbonation to both fill it out and give it an airy lightness
O: wonderful grapefruit fix, especially for how old it is in terms of hoppy American beers ... at 6 weeks of age, it's still loaded with hop flavor; I'll put this one in my rotation of American pale ales/IPAs to look for when shopping for hops

Golden hazy pour.
Faint but juicy cherry fruit and bread on the nose.
Taste is the same, with light cracker malt in the finish and the fruit note I smelled is now lending mostly lemon citrus now. A decent flavor.
Feel is medium and creamy.
Overall it drinks lightly despite the moderate IPA-abv. that the tasting notes seem to consider low. The very end does taste like some honey now as I’m typing this opinion. Don’t forget the fair bitterness. This is one I’d take with me for sun activities, or drink post-summer yard work for that matter.

Citrodos IPA has a very thick, spongy, off-white head, a semi-clear, orange-gold appearance, bubbles, and moderate lacing. The aroma is of white bread crust and hop resin. The flavor is similar, with relatively low bitterness. Mouthfeel is high medium, and Citrodos finishes medium dry.

Mostly clear dark gold light amber color. Medium white head. Smell is lemon, lime, orange peel. Tastes of dry citrus and some light caramel. It’s bitter but not overwhelming. I’m not really into ipa’s now, but this one can hold its own compared to many others. There’s a lot of mention to the low abv. At 6.10% I don’t really consider that low.

CAN:
Nicely citrusy and floral, committing to its hop selections and showcasing Citra and Centennial generally well, but as drinkable, balanced, and enjoyable as it is, it's not a standout IPA in today's oversaturated IPA market.
Doesn't outclass Bell's Two Hearted if we're discussing Centennial IPAs, and it can't hold a candle to, say, Zombie Dust or Kern River's Citra hopped IPAs, but I could see someone reaching for this if they wanted a local alternative to a Citra hopped beer like Sierra Nevada's Torpedo, and the price is right for its quality.
A nice IPA from Saint Arnold and well worth trying.
