A classic Belgian-style Witbier with a subtle aroma of coriander and orange peel and a distinct Belgian yeast character. The complexity of flavors in this medium-bodied ale make it crisp and refreshing.

A very refreshing beer perfect for the summer heat in Houston. Nothing spectacular or mind-blowing, but very well made and quaffable. The yeast flavors really shine as it warms.

Pours a bright yellow color with a light haze and thick white head. Suds recede quickly to just the top of the beer leaving loose lacing along the glass.
The nose is heavy on Belgian yeast character, with both banana and clove. Perhaps a light grainy sweetness.
The banana leads, with the close and yeast lingering not too far behind. Some mild bitterness in the finish, perhaps the way I taste the coriander.
Light to light-mid body with notable carbonation feel, some bitterness/dryness in the finish (again, me and coriander?).
An enjoyable is unspectacular beer, I wouldn't hesitate to drink another but also would seek this out over trying something new.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is poured a slightly hazed yellow color with a one finger head of white foam. The head has a decent level of retention, fading over time to leave a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is rather strong of a bready and doughy aroma mixed with lots of yeast and a bit of hay. Along with these aromas comes some citrus orange and lemon smell mixed with some smells of coriander and clove.
Taste – The taste begins with a crisp wheat bready taste mixed with some flavors of a light lemon and coriander and clove spice. These tastes create a base flavor for the brew and persist throughout. As the taste advances there is some hay and light herb that come to the tongue and with a touch of graininess, one is left with a rather crisp and spiced taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and crisp with a higher carbonation level. For the taste and the style the feel is good and makes for a nice crisp drinker.
Overall – A pretty good wit overall. Rather refreshing and enjoyable.

A: Pours slightly cloudy, a pale golden/yellow color. A dense white head rises to over two fingers with excellent retention. Rings of lace left behind.
S: Yeast like and peppery up front. That yeast aroma takes over with esters and lemon/orange/citrus rind. Doughy and bread like. Love it.
T: Doughy malts and bread. Yeast and peppery spice, esters, with slightly tart lemon and orange rind.
M/O: A medium body with effervescent and crisp carbonation. Though becomes ultra smooth after this breaths. Really easy to drink and downed in big gulps, which is not surprising.
Yeah, this is a good Wit. Glad this is back, and a year-round to boot. This will easily find its way into my rotation. Well done.
