From Saint Arnold - For a limited time only: our take on the Hazy IPA, Noble Haze, will begin to debut on taps around town. We designed a recipe with a similar malt bill associated with the style, and large amounts of wheat and oats were added to provide body and mouthfeel to balance the blast of hop flavor and aroma.
We use a fair amount of Noble Hallertau Hersbrucker hops in many of our traditional German recipes, and we decided to use it during the brew for this beer as well. A dry hopping of Hersbrucker, Hallertau Blanc, and Galaxy provide a fruit cocktail of floral, melon, tropical fruit, and citrus character.
Noble Haze comes in at 7.8% ABV and 52 IBU. This draft only limited release is intended to be enjoyed fresh to ensure the hop flavor and aroma are enjoyed at their peak.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a very hazy yellow orange color with a one finger head of puffy white foam. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave tons of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is very heavy of a tangerine and orange smell mixed with lots of sweet apricot and peach. Along with these smells comes a little bit of a grapefruit hop and some aromas of an almost confectioners’ sugar like candy smell as well as some notes of a light herbal smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a with a sweet fruity taste of apricot, peach, and tangerine, mixed with a rather strong orange juice like flavor. At the same time there are some lighter hop flavors of grapefruit and a light bit of hay are present, with both getting slightly stronger as the taste moves forward. At the same time other hop flavors of an herbal and slightly earthy hop taste come to the tongue. The herbal hop becomes the most prominent of the hop tastes, and in the end leaves one with a sweet fruity taste with a little bit of dankness to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the chewier and thicker side with a carbonation level that is on the lower side. For the fruity and lightly hopped taste of the brew the feel was rather nice and made of a nice sipping media for the lighter but noticeable, and rich tastes to be appreciated
Overall – A rather tasty and enjoyable IPA overall. Rich in fruit flavor with a bit of dank hop to balance it all out. Quite enjoyable overall

pour is a murky (not a turbid glass of milk)
nose is melon, white grape, light berries, blue berry,
taste follows. melon, berries, white grape, a touch of wine character, ripe pineapple, citrus. respectable bitterness supporting - not overly sweet like a lot of NEIPAs are. a touch of wheat on the finish.
clean body, a bit heavier than a west coast IPA, but not quite as 'creamy' as a NEIPA - a very nice mix.

Poured from can into tulip, good 2 finger cream colored head, good retention and lacing. Pale golden in the glass, opaque but not turbid. Smells of orange juice and ripe pineapple, great nose. Taste is tropical right off the bat, getting pineapple, citrus and stone fruit, no alcohol heat, smooth to the finish with a nice firm bitterness. No residual taste on the palate, finishes on the dryer side. Going to get more of this, great beer.

Look: slightly hazy lemon yellow
Smell: really fruity, orange zest, citrus hop
Taste: juicy, citrus, super smooth, I wish the juicyness would be more in your face, but it is still right up my alley!
Feel: medium-ish, would like it if it was a little more full
Overall: delicious, this is the type of juicy neipa's that I love!
