For this beer, we were inspired by a cocktail. We took our Raspberry AF and aged it 13 months in Gulf Coast Distillers whiskey barrels. The resulting 6.6% ABV beer has notes of whiskey, toffee, and slight cinnamon, along with the raspberry and vanilla. All in all, it’s a fruity and spritzy beer with a bit of funk.

Serving: 500 ml bottle ("bottled 05/21/20") poured into a Riedel Vinum Riesling glass.
Appearance: Slightly hazy, dark ruby red with a frothy head of white foam and streaky lace.
Smell: Bright, ripe raspberries with nice vanilla and oak barrel accents.
Taste: Whiskey barrel notes emerge in the flavor with more vanilla and toffee rounding out the tart raspberry base.
Mouthfeel: Light, effervescent and refreshing.
Overall: A nice, refreshing nod to cocktails adding a boozy bite to Raspberry AF.
