Poured at their 15th anniversary celebration.

Dark brown with garnet tinged edges and a decent but not impressive head. Smell of fresh cereal, porridge, and toasted bread crust, with faint hops detected. The taste was nicely malty but had a quick kiss of hops, with clean clarity with certain depth. Easily drinkable but not brown ale like where it may leave your lips smacking with sweetness.

I really like the idea of having another bock-like Texas brewed beer and hope to see this in sixers soon. Paired well with the brisket end piece, baked beans, and jalapeno bread from Goode Co. A perfect compliment for Texas bbq and a hot summer day.
