CAN courtesy of Mike - thanks, mate!

Boozy and a bit of a chore to drink, with a bland hop profile.

12oz canned 5-27-25, opened 8-2-25.
1+ finger off white head - good retention and clear, clean golden body.
Tropical fruit in the aroma as advertised, almost Hawaiian Punch-ish.
Big tropical flavor and red fruit, very punchy. Fruit salad with the one red cherry in the can.
Medium body with appropriate carbonation. Slight bitterness in a fruity medium length finish.
Tried once on draught before this - Very Good.
Good to Very Good.

Tropic Boom has a clear, gold appearance, with minimal lacing. The aroma is of fruit flavoring (Froot Roll-Ups?) and white bread. The flavor is very similar, with low bitterness. Tropic Boom has a medium body and mostly-dry finish.

A sharp crisp golden colored beer with a white head that settles to just under 1/4" pretty quickly and recedes slowly from there without leaving any lacings clinging to the glass. A heavy mangoish dominate aroma with some staying power transfers to the taste that adds a tad bit of the bitterness hops brings to a beer. Drys out nicely with a bit of the mango sticking around in the aftertaste of the Saint Arnold offering.

Well this one doesn't meet the usually high standards of saint Arnold. It's quite tropical, but it tastes like added flavoring. The alcohol is readily apparent, without enough residual long chain sugars to balance it out. There's an astringent taste that's quite notable. And the bitterness is excessive. Start over on thus one and focus on the fundamentals

Canned 12/19/24. Drank 1/20/25.
Pour is a clear golden hue with a slightly off white head. Good retention and good lacing, as well.
Nose is a huge hit of candied apricot, peach, mango.
Taste follows. Big hit of apricot, candied peach, melon, honey, moderate bready backbone. Finishes with a moderate / moderate + sweetness. I'd prefer more bitterness.
Clean, crisp body. Doesn't get sweet in a cloying, syrupy way

The nose is very impressive, if that's all hop driven. Not necessarily what I look for in an IPA. But impressive, none the less. Taste is also pretty dang heavy in the fruity, apricot / peach area. Not poorly made, just not at all what I look for in an IPA. Needs to be more bitter and less sweet. Reminds me of the New Belgium Juice Force.

This is a new year round Imperial IPA.

A: Pours a mostly clear golden orange color. A one finger white head forms. That eventually recedes to leave some lace behind.
S: Fruity up front for sure. Peach and apricot skins. That become fleshy and juicy.
T: Holy APRICOT Batman. Big on the fresh apricot, and light peach with other various fruit medley's going on. Which becomes juicy and sweet in the finish.
M/O: A medium to full body. Moderate carbonation at first that becomes more soft. Very easy to drink. The alcohol is nowhere to be seen.

Like most "Tropical" or "Juicy" IPA's I personally want more bitterness, less sweetness, and more carbonation. Though this is well made. It won't be a regular purchase of mine, but I will have no problem coming back to it when the mood hits. For people that like this style of IPA more, this should be a big hit.
