On cask at the Plano Gingerman. Brewed especially for the Gingerman pubs.
The beer pours a very dark brown color with a large tan head (much larger than I expected from a cask beer.) The aroma is full of roasted malt and chocolate. I also get a little bit of coffee mixed in.
The flavor is more of the same. There is a lot of rich milk chocolate mixed in with some toasted and roasted malt, coffee, cream and the slightest bit of smoke. All of the flavors meld very well together and add up to a very nice beer.
Medium mouthfeel and low to medium carbonation.
