This is St. Arnold Amber cask conditioned with Mosaic hops.
Appearance: Hits the glass a clear orange orange with an almost copperish tint to it. 1 finger white head that dissipates quickly.
Smell: Big hit of those Mosaic hops. It's very juicy and fruity. If I pick apart each fruit, I can smell a pleasant citrus, stonefruit, a hint of lime, and juicy pineapple. Rich and malty
Taste: A fair amount of residual sweetness, but no where near cloying. Get quite a bit of fruit that I smelled in the nose, i.e. sweet pineapple and oranges.
Mouthfeel: Since it's a cask beer, it's nearly completely flat. Quite creamy and smooth, while being wet and refreshing.
Overall: I thoroughly enjoy this version of the St. Arnold Amber Ale. I really wish they would bottle this year-round instead of regular Amber Ale. It's absolutely delicious, albeit needs a bit of work on making the taste "pop" a little more in the mouth. Easily one of the best beers I've had since summer started.
