I'm trying this beer at the brewery. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent was subtle bitter citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bitter citrus presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

Nice AIPA. I recently ODed on new to me Columbus brewers. I found some that I did not like, others confirmed what I knew, that there are people out there who cook some good stuff. This is one of the good ones.
The brew opens yellow and just slightly foamy. Nice. The aroma is not particularly strong, but a nice combo of hoppy and slightly yeasty/beer like. The taste is a bitter hoppy mix with some yeast and malt tastes. A balance, for an AIPA (it is not a hoppy one dimensional brew).
The aftertaste is bitter, yeasty and malty sticky. It lingers plenty. Nice. Hopefully there will be more good tastes from this brewer.

22oz bottle poured into a pint glass
A: Hazy orange with a 1+ finger head
S: Malt/grains/caramel, fairly sweet with generic hops
T: Grain-forward with some generic hops, though it's less sweet, adds some earthy notes and has a lengthy finish
M: Medium+ bodied, a hint sweet yet a drying factor from the earthiness
O: Not my preferred style of IPA (I prefer crisp and bone dry) but I'm glad I tried it
