I'm trying this beer at the brewery. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is leaving a nice lace. The scent had faint citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with nice subtle bitter citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

Can dated 2-19-19. CBF Tulip pint.
A: pours an dark orange with two fingers of foamy, bubbly head. Quite fizzy as soon as I popped the cap. Some visible carbonation, mild haze. Spotty lacing and great retention of a thin cap.
S: from the second I popped the cap, redolent with tropical and berry notes. Chewy, hoppy middle; hefty malt, but never heavy or particularly sweet. Very middle of the road mid-palate. Strong and lingering grapefruit pith finish.
M: chewy without being heavy. Really just right for a pale ale. I wish more were like this.
O: a great grapefruity pale with excellent texture. Could be a regular go to pale for me.

Ironically, I picked this up last night after hanging out at a classic arcade bar on 3rd street in Dayton. This has a solid hop bitterness and slides down very easy. I would definitely recommend this while chasing ghosts or rescuing princeses.
