On tap at the source.
Big citrus and tropical fruit on the nose with hints of pine and resin. Light bread and a hint of caramel. This smells fantastic and doesn't taste half bad either. Almost enjoyed this as much as the Lesser.

Had on tap at Great Lost Bear during Beer Safari in Portland, Maine. Overall very nice DIPA. Fruit juiciness up front with a good push of citrus lemony and slight pine bittering, Very well balanced and drinkable. Smooth and well crafted. Favorite of the night's beers at GLB.

I swung by Trib on 17OCT15 and had a couple of tulips of this ($5.00 for ~12oz). Opted for a growler ($16), which I am getting into tonight.
Filled a Portsmouth (!) tulip with the first pour. It's a clear, bright golden bier, with a bit of carbo slowly swirling topside. The head started as a frothy, rocky 1/2" layer of off-white foam, but it has ebbed to a fine, thin covering. Lacework left behind is quite attractive. Aroma is inviting, with some sweetish citrus and piney notes floating about. Body is medium-plus, bordering on being chewy, and it glides easily down the throat.
Taste is a bit sweet at the outset, with some orange and mango notes layered on some subtle, toasty malt. Has more citrus, like grapefruit and a touch of lemon, while also being somewhat piney and resiny. This one has a nice balance between sweeter, tropical-like fruit and the more bitter styles. Verry quaffable; even the 9.0% ABV is very manageable! Nice work, Tod! Zum Wohl!!

On tap at Loco Coco's.
In a snifter the beer was a clear gold color with a small white head and a little lace.
Earthy, piney aroma. A little fruit.
Pine resin taste, some orange.
Subtle, not a hop bomb.
Liked it.
