Monstrous 24 oz. pour on draft at the Great Lost Bear in Portland in a sort of outsized Pilsner glass-ish thing.
Appearance: A clear brown with a limited head. Not much lacing. Goes flat fast.
Aroma: Not a ton in the nose. Clean, with some grass and malt sweetness.
Taste: Fresh cut grass along with malt backbone. Cereal grains. Somewhat pilsner-like, at last to me. Some fruity notes in background; maybe citrus.
Mouthfeel: Way too easy to drink at almost 6 percent in a 24 ounce glass. A pounder.
Overall: Nice take on a style I enjoy. An easy session lager. Pairs well with most meals.
