From a 0.5l bottle filled in Fall 2023...
Pours dark brown, dense and opaque. Has a short, thin, fine covering layer of tan suds, with light lacing. Aroma has dark choco, roasty notes, espresso, cocoa powder and some vinous action. Body is medium, with a fairly smooth feel going down.
Flavor also has dark choco and lightly roasted malts. Add some raisins and dates plus vinous, grapey tartness. Perhaps should have quaffed this some time back, but still fairly tasty and drinkable. Cheers!!
