Classic American pale ale with big floral, grapefruit hops. A porch sittin' beer, if there was one.

12oz can. No dating information found.
Somewhat cloudy, deep amber colored body. One thin finger of white head, and this becomes a full cap with climbing ring. Leaves behind thick lacing webs.
Aroma has a backbone of toffee malts, with floral and grapefruit hops.
Taste continues with the toffee malts, also earthy, with hops that have a grapefruit flavor. Medium bitterness, and this emerges more in the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel. Bitterness lends itself to a clean and drying finish. Very good carbonation.
Not real deep or broad but has classic flavors for the style. Drinkable without saying wow.

Dark golden and hazy with a good head and some lacing. A bit of fruit and hops on the nose. Some dry dusty hops on the tongue, hops aren’t quite as crisp as I like from an APA. Some sweetness lingers in the mouth. A good APA, could be more expressive, not too bitter though, overall quite nice.

A: Orangish, copper color, 1 inch off white head, really nice lacing
S: Caramely malts, piney hops
T: Piney hops right up front, caramel and malts dont have the presence I thought it would from the smell. Really drinkable.
M: Light to medium
O: Beer drinks lighter than I thought it would. Would be a nice sesionable ale by the pool.

Nice drinkable pale ale. Flavors are a little muddled, with maybe a bit too much fizz in the mix. Maybe a little too acidic at the finish for my taste, but a nice local beer when visiting Blue Ridge.

A clear coppery ale with three fingers of lacey creamy head. Smells like beer. Carbonated mouthfeel, but not strongly so. A rich flavor with elements I can't put my finger on, a little unusual; Little bit of a sour aftertaste. Not bad. I'd drink it again.
A weird thing: The can crackled when I crushed it.
