I checked out Ponysaurus a few months ago while visiting friends in Durham. The taproom shares a building with the large brewing and barreling operation. The taproom itself is somewhat small and quite industrial, but there’s also a huge outdoor patio (that has cover, which was necessary on the super rainy day I was there). They have a pizza kitchen, too, though I didn’t sample anything from it, and I got good and friendly service up at the bar.
There were about 10 of their beers on tap, plus a bottle pour, and four guest beers. Styles included ESB, bière de garde, a watermelon saison, two *other* saisons (so that’s like 4 French beers altogether!), IPA, export stout, Scottish ale, coffee Baltic porter, and Pilsner. A pretty interesting collection of styles; I was quite impressed by the Summer Saison, though less so by the IPA. I’d definitely hit up Ponysaurus again, though, if only to try more of the saisons.

Visited on a Thursday afternoon with a friend from EPA. Arrived before it got real busy. Great space all outside with picnic tables and fire pits. Parking will be an issue when it is busy. Good selection of beer. Service was great but no table service for beers.

Located near Durham Freeway, HQs for police and social services on which local officials spent 100s of millions, a dialysis clinic, third world slum housing that local officials are allowing to rot and letting people live in them, and another brewery for affluent white people who aren't from Durham. Beer is well made
