22oz brown bottle, sample from the brewery.
Pour a deep reddish brown color, slightly hazy. A decent looking head and lacing that sticks to the glass. Smells of caramel, booze, raisins, dried plums, figs, piney hop resin, and brown bread. Very creamy, slightly chewy, and a nice push of smoothness. Sweet up front with waves of toasted grain and hoppiness and help to balance this massive brew. Raisins and booze, caramel and bread crust, juicy hoppiness and toast. Obviously a big brew, bigger than most but an approachable sipper. Seek this one out.
