Well-balanced; copper-coloured beer with fruity highlights and a hoppy finish.

On cask at Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem in Nottingham.
Pours a dark amber with soft head.
Smell is bready and a bit sweet and floral. Notes of brown bread, toast, citrus, leather and caramel.
Taste is rich and bready with a moderate bitterness. Notes of brown bread, toast, leather, tobacco, citrus and caramel.
Mouthfeel is medium soft, smooth and well carbonated.
Overall, a terrific bitter, refreshing and full of flavor.

Served cool from 500ml brown bottle purchased at the brewery shop into handled pint mug.
L) Clear attractive copper colour, a few bubbles rising, thing whispy white head.
S) Toffee malts and light English hops.
T) Follows the nose; not that bitter really, malt smoothness is prominent touched off with a bit of hops fragrance. Little bitterness, in fact there is a slight sweet finish. No bitter aftertastes.
F) Light, refreshing and fairly fizzy. No bitter aftertastes. Goes down very nicely on a hot day.
O) A very light bitter, a good thirst quencher, just don't expect big flavours.
