Inspired by the great Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Padstow Pale is a hybrid of traditional British and American west coast pale ale styles. The new improved recipe combines subtle herbal notes of English Hops with resinous citrusy accents from US varieties for a vibrant refreshing session ale. Now Dry Hopped for extra aroma and flavour.

500ml bottle conditioned. Inspired by Sierra Nevada pale ale apparently. Maybe so, but I don’t get a lot of West Coast resin & pine. There’s plenty of dry herb and some black tea, however. So I’d say this is an EPA that looks like a golden ale but tastes fairly traditional. Once again, I wonder if this is better on draught. I’m also wondering how this beer compares with and without gluten.
