Poured a cloudy, translucent golden body with a half-finger fluffy white head. Quite the nice looking beer and true to form for the style. Scents of salt water, ocean-like with a musky, earthy yeast character and a nice grainy malt and tangy wheat aroma. Overall impression is of a nice, salty gose, very true to form and quite nice. Flavor begins lightly salty with notes of salt water, tangy wheat and light grainy malt with a very light lactic sourness. Middle continues these flavors but gets a bit saltier and adds a nice apricot-like flavor and more apparent grainy malt. Finish is lightly salty with a light fruitiness and notes of grainy malt, light lactic sourness and spicy yeast phenols with notes of white pepper and clove. Aftertaste is grainy malt, white pepper and salt. Overall impression of flavor is of a very nice gose. It is pleasantly salty, refreshing but with a nice grain and fruit presence as well. Very nice. Mouthfeel is medium-light bodied with high carbonation and a sour, puckering and salty feel. Overall Impression of mouthfeel is of an Extremely refreshing and quite nice beer. Overall is a nice gose. It is salty, but not too salty, grainy but not too much and nicely sour in the background in both aroma and flavor. The mouthfeel aids the flavor and makes it one of the most refreshing beers I have ever drank. Amazing.
