Surprisingly a bit leathery; dry—like a desiccated flower arrangement: too green-wood and dead-grassy—but it punctuates nicely the almost-animal juicy elements. Indeed, the hopping is pretty wild, even rough, albeit wet and fresh. The color is golden brown, with the body showing a thin but persistent head, that perfumes with a fresh alpine nose. It's a big hopslide of a mountain-clarion, equestrian-meadow, malt-on-the-barn-floor IPA, with a sticky mouth. Above all, it's funky—and an unconventional kind of funky—while also strangely moist, and somehow quite clean.
