Pours a copper color with a mild fog to the transparency. Head is two fingers of white foam. Aroma is resin - and heavy at that. Stickiness is furthered by additions of grassy, resiny, herbal, and mild medicinal hops. Sticky bomb. Bready malts underneath, giving it an old school IPA finish. Flavor profile is the same sticky hop bomb, delivering resin, herbal, and medicinal. Mild bready malts create some balance, although the balance leans much more into the hops in the flavor profile vs. the aroma. No alcohol stickiness or excessive heat. Mouth feel is thick and fuzzy, consistent from start to finish. Overall, a sticky SOB. Old school IPA that tastes like licking a pine tree. Reminds me of Bell's Hopslam, but without the honey.
Same IIPA as the Blood Orange, but without the fruit addition. Draft. Reviewed from notes.
