Pours a copper color with a light fog to the transparency. Head is two fingers of white foam, with good retention. Aroma is pine, and light citrus and grassy hops. Bready malts come forward in the second half of the aroma. Flavor profile has the same old school IPA profile, delivering pine, and mild grassy and citrusy hops. Bready malts and bready yeast help close out the flavor profile with a soft bite. The whole profile is soft and balanced, transitioning from hops to malts smoothly, making it a more easy-going IPA. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a fuzzy carpet-like texture. Overall, a solid, plain IPA. No frills, but not major faults.
