This is a great beer, and an good example of an Irish dry stout. Looking at the glass, it is pitch black, with a nice dark cream head. On the nose, there is aromas of roasted barley, and a slight bitterness. It tastes strongly of dark roasted malts, toasted biscuits, and a little bitter coffee. There is a nice bitterness, mostly from the malt, with only a little hop characteristic. Awesome beer, can't wait for when it comes around again.
