Brewed in the traditional German fashion by naturally introducing lactobacillus via adding raw grain to the mash that is comprised of 2 row, white wheat, and carapils this Berliner Weisse is tart, sour, slightly acidic with a lemony/citrus profile. This unique beer is great on a Florida summer day and is highly sessionable given the 3.7% ABV rating.

This is the cucumber & rose hips batch that i'm reviewing. I like the can artwork, great use of color. The pour is a pale yellow that's similar to pear juice. The taste is sour & tart right upfront. In addition to the cucumber & rose hips are definitely in there as well. The interesting thing about this beer is that the finish brings to mind biting into a pack of starburst candy, i'm digging this beer. Furthermore, this is not something that I see myself drinking on a regular basis but this is a good change up on a warm summer day. Oh well, at least now I can say that I was able to have a beer that was made with cucumbers & rose hips added to it. Cheers! B
