The cream ale style is often misunderstood and underappreciated by craft beer drinkers as it was frequently brewed using negative adjuncts by large corporations. With that in mind we set out to put a truly craft spin on this historic style by using Pilsner malt, Carapils, flaked maize, and Crystal 60L in our 100% malt grain bill and utilized Hallertau and SAAZ hops. The results; a refreshing pale golden ale with a mild and pleasant nose followed by low hop bitterness and a refreshing finish.
