12oz can, painted label. Stamp on bottom lip is 'STAY THIRSTY MY FRIENDS JUNE 10TH 2025', about 17 weeks in the can.
Slightly cloudy, medium gold colored body. One thin finger of white head with the pour, and this quickly settles back to an island and thin ring. Minimal lacing of small spots.
Aroma of grapefruit and orange citrus. Juicy.
Taste is fruity sweet, with minor bitterness coming in late. Flavors of orange, grapefruit, lemon, and sweet toasted caramel malts. Aftertaste stays fruity sweet, with a minor bit of bitterness.
Medium mouthfeel. Orangesicle-like, smooth and clean down the throat. Good carbonation.
Easy to imbibe citrus IPA, with juicy and fresh expressions in the nose and for flavors.

Had on tap at Ybor City Tap House in Tampa, FL, during a Motorworks Brewery tap takeover event.
The brewery rep who was offering tastes of this beer said it was a grapefruit oil-infused IPA. I liked the aroma, but I thought the fruit flavor was gimmicky and fake tasting. Thin, watery body. The overall impression was too much like a grapefruit soda for me.

With one foot in traditional American IPA and one foot in the newer juicy trends, Motorworks brewers pits these two flavors side by side in the same glass.
Commonly hazy with hops, Pulp Friction swirls in the glass with a medium amber and orange appearance. As its creamy white froth rises, so do the radiant fragrance of citrus with hints of tropical, melon and stone fruits. Sweeter with light caramel, honey, toast and nuttiness, the malt backbone gives impressions of granola to the early palate.
A fade of sweetness leaves room for the hops to grow into full and fruity complement of pink grapefruit and tangerine. With hints of mango and pineapple adding complexity and charm, the ale trends drying with a bitter edge build around pine needle, peppery resins, sun tea and fresh cut grasses.
Medium bodied and trending dry, the ale still retains a balancing sweetness that reinforces the fruitiness for juicy taste of cantaloup before finishing long, bitter and spicy with hops.

On tap at Stargaze Bar, Disney Springs. Pint glass.
Bright and clear golden color. 1F white cap. Heavy lacing, rings and more.
Ultra fresh and lightly sweetened grapefruit rind aroma.
Malt base with full grapefruit hop flavor.
Medium body, solid malt topped with hoppy citrus grapefruit. Surprising mild bitterness.
It is what it claims to be, and I like it.

Look - golden, light hazy, cloudy with a small head
Smell - strong grapefruit, citrus, floral scent that really pops right from the can
Taste - Again, strong grapefruit, citrus, sweet fruit, light pine & malt
Feel - on the lighter side, medium carbonation. There's some hop bitterness balanced by the malt and sweetness. Sticky finish with grapefruit pith, resin finish.
Overall - If you like grapefruit then you'll love it. I first had this on draft about 3 years ago and remember thinking on my 2nd pint, wow this brew is delicious! I'm feeling that way now too. Best enjoyed while listening to You Never Can Tell by Chuck Berry from the Pulp Fiction Soundtrack.
