This Dunkelweizen or Dark Hefe starts out on the nose and palate with spicy clove and banana bread flavors. It has a malt sweetness up front that dries in the finish with a mild roasted walnut character. This dark version of a hefe has a little more complexity over its lighter malt cousin.
