Pours an inviting deep dark brown body, giving up a creamy tan head.
The aroma is earthy and sweet with hints of raisins, molasses, pipe tobacco, and figs.
The flavor follows the nose along with some subtle coffee and chocolate notes.
The mouthfeel is low in carbonation and that makes it absolutely perfect for this flavor profile.
Overall this is an outstanding wee heavy scotch ale.

Burnished brown with huge beige head with trails of lacing.
Aroma filled with burned caramel and toffee and alcoholic vanilla extract. There is a lot of caramel fudge aroma and some wordiness too.
Flavor is not as enjoyable as the aroma mainly due to the alcohol presence which adds unwanted bitterness. Lots of tootsie roll and burnt caramel with heavy dose of prickly hot alcohol. Low bitterness overall.
Feel is very drinkable despite the syrupy pour. Body is medium with high carbonation which seems a little odd.
Overall a decent wee heavy that just needs more smoothing in the malt Dept.

Nice dark color, stable head. Light aroma, but excellent taste - good balance, not too bitter. Slightly peppery finish.

12 oz can with a 15 April 2018 BB date stamp on the bottom.
Pours clear dark mahogany with a durable beige head.
Nice complex mix of dark malts in this Wee Heavy. Good bitter-sweet balance that leans bitter by the finish. Relatively poor aroma.

Nice dark color with modest head and modest carbonation. Notes of malt, bourbon and vanilla. Modest feel on palate with no major lingering of alcohol on palate. For a high grav beer this is a nice beer
