This American style ale has a smooth malt body with a gentle hop finish. Made with crystal malts and warrior hops, its low ABV and beautiful golden color make the Woodland Warrior a perfect thirst quencher after a long day in the woods. 5.1% ABV, 39 IBUs

Draft offering at the source, appears a hazed copper color with a firm, tan cap. Some patchy lace sticks to the glass and a swirl revives.
The smell includes noted of minerals upfront which is unexpected. Somewhat herbal hops blend to notes that are grassy, fruity and floral. Some caramel/toffee malt sweetness rounds out the nose.
The taste includes caramel/toffee malt upfront but without sweetness. A bit of herbs and grassy/pithy bitterness from the hops and a finish that is a little mineral filled and distracting.
This is a medium bodied brew with a modest amount of carbonation. Not a bad brew but the overall maltiness of this brew is a bit one-sided and dominating. A little cleanup with the mineral quality would increase the overall enjoyment for me.
