Named for trout found in the Snitz Creek, this is our personal twist on a classic Irish stout. This beer is extremely smooth and easy to drink, with hints of cocoa, caramel, and roasted barley. 4.6% ABV, 25 IBUs

Draft offering at the source. The brew appears a dark brown color with a firm khaki head.
The smell of this brew is all roast. Some citrus hop, slight mineral feel overtop and ashy charred grain feel. It plays the part of a dry stout.
The taste is much of the same. Roasty, ashy charred grain and a citrus/mineral feel. The flavors a dry, clean and blunt. Not deeply complex by any stretch and fitting for the style.
This is a medium bodied brew with a modest amount of carbonation. Overall this is an ok offering. No thrills, just middle of the road and enjoyable for what it is.
