The Explorer is our lightest and least hoppy beer that we make. Its light and refreshing yet has a great malt body that adds flavor with every sip. 4.5% ABV, 11 IBUs

Draft offering appears a pale copper color with polished clarity. Seemingly no head formation despite a few swirls. A few beads collect around the perimeter of the glass and spotty lace sticks to the wall.
The aroma incudes a fresh sweetness of grain and light fuity alcohol component. There is slim to nothing else to pick up on in the aromatics despite letting it warm up.
The taste is lightly fruity. It has a very mild profile with no real discernible malt, hop or alcohol character. I cant really tell based on flavor alone what they were going for here... is this an alt, kolsch, cream ale? I have no idea what im drinking despite the blonde ale designation.
It is light bodied, modest to lightly carbonated and overall quite forgettable. The consensus at our table was that this is a beer for people who dont like beer. If that is what they were going for, they hit a homerun. Hopefully this explorer ale idea is their playground to test out new things, I would pass on having this again.
