Beautiful coppery amber color with a frothy foam in the Piraat tulip. Pleasant sudsy mouthfeel with a little malty body. Herbal tea aroma with a pecan note.
Flavor is very biscuity with a nutty taste. This makes me think of an English style of something. Just a wisp of bitterness and not any particular hop flavor. Moderate malty sweetness with a distinct caramel taste.
Thoroughly drinkable and flavorful. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Barons Market in San Diego.
