Can poured into chalice
Big, soapy whiter one finger foam crown over clear golden liquid with active streams of carbonation. Good retention , good lacings
Aroma is malts with a whiff of peppery chilies
Taste is malt with chilies, no noticeable hop taste , truth in advertising, hatch chili taste
Good sudsing, slight hop nibble
Nice beer

Living in Las Cruces which is about 40 miles from Hatch, NM I have come to love Hatch Green Chili and use it in cooking everything from biscuits, spaghetti, bread, as well as all the traditional Mexican foods and countless other kitchen offerings, please believe me: this beer brings it. This is Hatch Green Chili at its finest, a great representation of the taste and aroma of the famed Hatch Green Chili. Even though Hatch Green Chili can be quite spicy hot the thing about Hatch Green Chili is the taste. PERIOD. Its the taste that makes Hatch Green Chili what it is. Anyway, if you ever get the chance to try this beer or real Hatch Green Chili, do not miss the opportunity and savor every second of it.

Poured from 12oz can into 20oz tulip. Canned 1/4/2018.
Look: Amber in color, transparent. 1/2" head formation, with generous glass lacing.
Smell: Bready with a pepper background. Not much going on, but pepper is present.
Taste: Slight hop and floral profile, but with pepper presence. Really intriguing and actually good.
Feel: Medium in body, carbonation seems a little high but doesn't seem problematic. Easy drinking.
Overall: This is a good brew. Not something I would want all the time, but still, a worthy try. As always, I am glad I had it. Cheers!

Had low expectations but I really enjoyed this beer. If your a fan of New Mexico chile than you will be able to appreciate this more than the inexperienced. Very good beer and it's pretty damn smooth and you can actually taste a hint of Hatch Chile which is the best in the World imo!

Pour is a very swampy, murky looking dark orange. Almost has a slight green/camo looking hue to it. Big fluffy head with nice retention.
Nice presence of peppers in the aroma. Very earthy and a little citrusy. Getting some orange peel. Subtle maltiness.
Taste of peppers isn't as prominent as nose, still noticeable. Mostly burnt toasty malt, and a little citrus. Pepper and a little hop resin comes back in the finish.
Mouthfeel is moderately carbonated, a slight pepper burn going down.
Excellent display of a pepper infused IPA.
