Blood orange dominates the hops...on the front end. hop/resin comes through in the aftertaste! Overall a very nice IPA!

Clear golden amber with a fine-grained white foam in the Rodenbach goblet. Deep aroma of yes, citrus. More orange than anything else, and more aroma of juice than the usual oily peel. Crisp with a medium body and plenty of suds in the mouth. And it does have a noticeable edge of alcohol but it plays well with the fruit.
Somehow the blood orange flavor seems distinctive. Having just tasted the Stone Tangerine Express, this is so much less bitter. It still has plenty of the lime peel bitter edge, but it's highly drinkable. Sharp and citrusy finish. Long orange nose after the gulp is warming your stomach. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Barons Market in San Diego.
