Serving type: 22 oz bomber into a tulip glass.
Pours a deep ebony black, no light permeating through it. Cascading carbonation from the initial pour leads to a perfect unbroken circle of mocha colored bubbles that persist throughout the drink. This beer is beautiful. Smell is of intense vanilla, cocoa powder, marshmallow, bourbon, and sweet mocha. What a treat. Taste reflects the smell. Initial vanilla and roasted barley flavors lead into a pleasant cocoa powder and milk chocolate flavor, bourbon is present throughout the drink. Finishes with a mild roasty bitterness and bourbon aftertaste. No alcohol heat or flavor is present, impressive for a 12% brew. Feel is thick, chewy, and viscous. Overall this is a great non adjunct imperial stout with great aromas and flavors. Glad I took a chance and bought this, I'm gonna have to buy a lot more.
