The aroma is a blast of tangerine, a throbbing fruity presence. I can't think I've ever had a more powerfully fruited beer. But surprisingly, it's quite delicious. Clear dark amber brew with plenty of foam in the chalice.
It's hot like a liqueur, so full of citrus peel, but not overly bitter. Big sweet malt but lively mouthfeel. Well balanced with the spicy selection of hops: Chinook, Simcoe, and Amarillo. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Barons Market, a reliable source for all the Garage beers in the south.
