Pours a hazy, golden in color with ample foam. Lots of lacing as you drink. Smells like melon with a zesty, lemony citrus and slight buttery malts in the background. Taste follows the nose quite well. Butter mixed with spicy, herbal and citrus hops on the tongue up front through the swallow. Finishes with a lingering orange rind flavor on the tongue. Not very crisp or dry. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with ample carbonation and a little bit of creaminess. Very drinkable. This is a simple but tasty brew. El dorado really shines here, it's a great hop for it's aroma and flavor, and the buttery malt backbone really compliments it nicely. Another good one from Bazos. Cheers!

one of my favorite hoppy beers i had in texas, this stuff is incredible. the best of the few i had from these guys, but i was impressed with all of them to some extent. this is the winner though, a wonderful showcase of el dorado hops (and a few others in the background as well). this seriously has a candy character to it, like i sometimes get from cryo hops, they are so forward and dry hoppy and juicy that they almost transcend the plant, like hops on steroids, tropical punch, passion fruit, lemons, guava, honeysuckle, its amazing and its over the top in terms of intensity, but there is no bitterness here hardly at all, and a nice little floral honey sort of sweetness from the barley malt. each sip is a new wave of hop flavor, el dorado at its full potential and like i have rarely known in the past. this must be super fresh, but i didnt see a date on the can. pineapple and melon and citrus all there, a heavy mouthfeel from the hops, supersaturated and dense to me, but not from grain. each sip of this was better than the one before it, a really fabulous can of beer this is. i am surprised folks arent freaking out about it, its next level!

Well, the pour doesn't look much like a NEIPA. Maybe it is not supposed to be. Pours a very hazy yellow color with a 1/2 finger width foamy head that quickly dissipates. Retention is mild, as is lacing. Aroma is great! Definitely get a juicy pineapple and some mild tropical fruits. There is a slight about of resin at the end. There is a lot lost in the taste, though. Not nearly as juicy as I would expect a NEIPA to be. Pineapple is definitely there. There is a lot of piney resin and a lot of bitterness. Light to medium bodied. Moderate carbonation.
