A: Pours a very lightly hazy medium golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation and moderate amounts of bright yellow + honey colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy white head that slowly reduces to a a couple of medium sized patches of thin film surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit pith, pine, and herbal hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of pale + caramel + bready malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of pale + caramel + bready malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit pith, pine, and herbal hops which impart a light to moderate amount of lingering aggressive hops.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly chewy with a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol. Enjoyable old school IPA with a very pleasant citrus/pithy + pine + herbal hop profile and aggressive bitterness.

Pours a clear golden color with a finger width foamy head. Head retention is good. Lacing is very good. Nice fresh, citrus aroma. Some piney resin in the background. Very nice, light, fresh citrus taste. Nice, bitter hop transitions. Piney and citrus at the end. Moderate astringency. Light bodied but ends more medium bodied. Possibly a little bit of caramel.
Moderate to heavy carbonation. I think this is a good, well-made beer.

12 fl oz can nabbed at a beer store in Austin, TX.
Lacks sufficient hop pungency and depth of flavour, but it's largely balanced and enjoyable.
C+ (3.12) / ABOVE AVERAGE
