Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a hazy golden color with a one finger head of fluffy white foam. The head has a good level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a good sum of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is light overall with some bready smells mixed with a stronger smell of yeastiness. Along with these aromas comes a little bit of a tropical fruit aroma of tangerine and pineapple as well as a touch of a herbal smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a dry bready taste that is mixed with a touch of a tropical fruit flavor of tangerine. Along with these flavors some a light herbal hop flavor along with a decent showing of some yeasty tastes. As the taste advances the fruit flavors (which are quite light upfront) grow a little bit stronger. At the same time the herbal hop is joined by a little bit of a grapefruit hop taste as well as a sorta musty taste to leave one with a lightly fruity and lightly hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is slightly thicker for a brut with a carbonation level that is lower. A much thinner body and higher carbonation would have been much nicer for the style, enhancing the easy drinking nature of the brut style. Still it is OK and does accentuate some of the hop a bit so....
Overall- While not heavy on the palate, the feel and more bready like nature of the taste, did detract for the crisp and very easy drinking nature of the brew. Decent, but not really all that impressive of a brut, a style I have become more and more fond of over time.

Pours a hazy yellow color with a thin foamy head. Head retention is mild. Lacing is very good. Has a citrus champagne like aroma. Kind of lemony. Very pleasing. Big lemon taste with a nice amount of bitterness. Very dry on the end as the style is meant to be. Light bodied with heavy carbonation. Since Brut IPAs have come out, I have been very unimpressed with them. This one definitely breaks that trend.

Poured from a can into a tulip glass.
Cloudy light yellow color with good head and lacing. Lemony citrus smell and taste. Slightly sweet and with a light feel. Pretty good!
