This barrel aged stout borders on imperial but the brewer designated it an American stout. Poured at the brewery into a tulip glass. Dark brown color with a creamy beige head and nice lacing. Slightly boozy smell and taste. Dark chocolate, smokey and somewhat earthy. Smooth feel. Nice stout.
