Had a goblet at the brewery this past Sunday before the Ducks - Red Wings game.
Beer was served brown with a decent white head initially.
Nose was yeasty with dark fruits.
Taste was dark fruits and Belgian phenols are very prominent. I could close my eyes and imagine myself in Belgium sipping a dubbel over there!
Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied and very delicately smooth.
Overall this was probably my favorite beer of the day at BLB. You do not see many US brewers attempting this style and they did it very well - kudos!
