Yellow brew with a slight haze and modest foam in the tumbler. Aromatics come in waves like an amphibious assault. It's just unbelievable. So flowery with mysterious fruity notes. Sharp mouthfeel with an acidity that seems to heighten the fruity flavors.

This is so interestingly spicy. It's like nutmeg with some Moroccan harissa. Some lemon, with lime peel, then the dried pineapple. The hops are reportedly Southern Passion, Southern Star, African Queen, and XJA2. Which explains the "South African space program achieves stable orbit" on the label.

Moderate light malt flavor but lots of malt body and just a little sweetness. Massive hops but modest bitterness. This is one of the most intriguing IPAs I've tasted. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at PlumpJack Wines on 24th St. in San Francisco.

A very well balanced beer like Pliny. Not that strong smelling. But has a hoppy smooth taste that is not overwhelming. Very crushable beer and will put a hurting on you quick.

A: clear golden to mustard yellow. Thin bright white head

S: citrus juice. Lime peel. Passion fruit. Bubblegum. Grass.

T: good balance resin bitterness to sweet malt. Some biscuits and grass. Citrus finish

F: clean and crisp.

O: decent IPA. But from These two breweries I do expect something much better

Great hoppy aroma and clear golden color. They used South African hops strain which tastes very similar to Mosaic to me. Great balance of sweetness and hoppiness. Nice crisp clean hoppy flavor for a DIPA. ABV well hidden.
